For my competitor research I researched both local and online editorial services.  As editorial services can be easily accessed and sourced online and because my persona research highlighted the need for a local editor I felt I wanted to compare both to get an idea of my client’s competitors and the market.

Strengths

Not all the editors I researched had their own website their information was found via member or group websites i.e. YorkEditors.  Having her own website is a strength for my client.
